My name is Moriah and I am a senior at California State University, Fullerton. My major is Psychology with a minor in Human Services. I have always been interested in criminology, and love a good true crime podcast! I hope to be involved in criminal research, and would love to know why people commit crimes! I believe if we have raw data behind certain criminal aspects it’ll make them easier to understand, and hopefully prevent in the future.

What Is Criminology?
Criminology is the study of crime from a social perspective: the causes of crime, the social impact of crime, and the criminals involved in the crime. The purpose of criminology is to attempt to better understand why individuals may act in a criminal manner.
